PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ascending air current circulation fan which can be used all through the year, and can stably supply a negative ion, ejects deodorizer and aromatic substance put from filling ports indoors, and in which an impeller is installed upward so as to convect indoor air. SOLUTION: In the ascending air current circulation fan in which the impeller is put upward, a hollow column having a plurality of suction ports of 50 to 100 mm diameter is secured to a main body base installed in a floor surface, a short hollow column opened at an upper end is mounted and secured on the upper part of the column, a drive part base having a plurality of filling ports and a plurality of blow-out openings at the upper end is secured to the short hollow column, the drive part is secured at the lower side of the base, and the lower part cover is secured to the upper part of the base. After setting the ventilating impeller, a detachable upper part cover is attached to it. Tourmaline which generates a negative ion, deodorizer, aromatic substance or germicide is put into the inside of the hollow column from each filling port.
