PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-tank type oil pan structure capable of surely replacing oil, while contributing to an improvement in fuel economy at the high oil temperature, by securing pumpability at the low temperature. SOLUTION: This two-tank type oil pan 1 has an engine water temperature sensor 9, an engine oil temperature sensor 10, an engine oil pressure sensor 11, a throttle opening sensor 11, and an electronic thermostat 7 controlled by a CPU 8 connected with an operation part 13. The electronic thermostat 7 can be opened and closed by carrying an electric current to a heater 7f of the electronic thermostat 7 on the basis of data provided from the engine water temperature sensor 9 and the engine oil temperature sensor 10, and can communicate or close an auxiliary chamber 4 and a main chamber 5. Thus, oil of the auxiliary chamber and oil of the main chamber can be optionally mixed without depending on only the oil temperature, and the oil can be put in a proper state.
