PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door plate fitting means capable of securely preventing falling of the door plate and fitting a door plate with ease to the opening of a building. SOLUTION: The door plate fitting means attached to the upper part of the door plates 2, 3 is attached openably/closably to the opening 5 of the building. In the door plate fitting means 1 in which the protrusive member 10 fitted from below to a guide rail 9 fixed to the upper edge of the opening 5 of the building, in the protrusive member 10, a come off preventive member 11 retractably moving in the horizontal direction from the fitting position to the guide rail 9 is provided in the fitting position, in the condition the fitting section is fitted in the guide rail 9, the come off preventive member 11 is protruded and the come off preventive member 11 is engaged with the guide rail 9, thereby, the protrusive member 10 is prevented from coming off from the guide rail 9.
