PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To access desired data without waiting for a state allowing all functions of a computer system to be used. SOLUTION: This system 10 comprises: a non-volatile storage 30 that contains a first operating system 50, user data 54, a data capture application 56, a second operating system contained within a quick look partition file 60; a ROM 34 containing an executable BIOS 40; and a CPU 22.
