PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency and equipment cost of a parts assembling device. SOLUTION: The parts assembling device is provided with an assembly line 2 with a truck disposed to move a partially fabricated item 12; orthogonal biaxial assembling units 3, 4 disposed in a plurality of separate positions of the assembly line 2 to operate assembling hands 31, 41 into optional positions on an intersecting plane which intersects the assembly line 2; and a control device 6 for controlling the truck 5 and the respective assembling units 3, 4. The control device 6 repeatedly moves the truck 5 in order into a plurality of positions where the assembling units 3, 4 are disposed, moves the truck 5 into the position where one assembling unit 3 (4) is disposed, and allows the other assembling unit 4 (3) to prepare for the assembly of parts while parts are assembled to the partially fabricated item 12 by the one assembling unit 3 (4).
