PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise display shelf capable of displaying packed planar merchandise so that a purchaser can directly touch contents and confirm the details in the structures, or the like. SOLUTION: On the front edge of a shelf plate 2 for mounting the merchandise, a hinge 11 capable of holding the base part of a planar merchandise sample and switching the merchandise sample to the display state of being erected on the front edge of the shelf plate 2 and the non-display state of being brought down is provided. Also, it is preferable that the planar merchandise mounted on the shelf plate 2 is miniaturized in a prescribed ratio as the merchandise sample and it is preferable that the hinge 11 is attached to the front edge of the shelf plate 2 through a freely detachable receiver 12.
