The terminal has equipment housings (100, 200) and a hinge with a rack in intrusion with a pinion and a unit extending a sliding section. Another hinge has a connecting unit. A turn of the pinion is converted into a linear movement of the rack as reaction to an actuating force of an actuating unit, where the movement is extended by the unit so that the housing (200) fastened to the latter hinge is moved around the section.
