<p>The staircase step incorporates a load-bearing step piece made up from a rectangular or trapezoid metal frame (1), with a core of cement bonded material filling its interior space (7). Cladding (12) is attachable to at least one of its side surfaces and/or a top surface. The cladding can be in the form of a square or panel-shaped piece being fixed to the top surface of the step piece to form the steps ultimate tread surface. A laterally protruding lug or bolt can be provided for fixture of the side cladding engaging holes in the latter.</p> |
