<p>The portable score board for badminton consists of a large board made of sheet steel, wood or plastic and which forms a housing for a number of circuit boards. The circuit boards are fitted with light emitting diodes which are grouped to form numbers indicating the score against the player's name. The player's name is written on the board with a special crayon than can be easily removed. The score board can be fitted with batteries or supplied with power from the mains through a transformer. Selector switches are fitted near the lower edge of the board or a remote control panel can be used. The board can be mounted on a trolley for ease of transport or it can be carried by a handle fitted to the top edge.</p> |
