<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transforming chloroplast of Chrysanthemum plant to produce a transformant which effectively expresses a protein for pharmaceutical use, etc., without forming a harmful secondary metabolite. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for transforming chloroplast of Chrysanthemum plant comprising transduction of a vector having a base sequence encoding an expressing protein, between a promoter of rRNA operon originated from the Chrysanthemum plant chloroplast genome and a terminator of a psbA gene and having the promotor and the terminator between a ribulose-1, 5-bis carboxylase/oxygenase large subunit gene derived from genome of the Chrysanthemum plant chloroplast, and an acetyl-CoA carboxylase subunit gene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
