<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly retrieve digital picture data being the original of a printed picture even when the storage destination is changed afterwards. <P>SOLUTION: This digital picture management system is provided with a digital camera 11, a portable telephone 12 with a camera and a personal computer 13. The digital camera 11 transfers digital picture data. The portable telephone 12 registers, adds and updates information memorandum for the digital picture data as its extended data. The personal computer 13 prepares and stores a bar code from the basic data of the digital picture data and its flag, and prints a picture image 150 and a bar code 152 and an information memorandum 151 as a picture 15. The portable telephone 12 picks up the image of the bar code 152. The personal computer 13 decodes the flag and the basic data from the imaged bar code, and when the flag exists, the personal computer 13 retrieves the digital picture data being the original of the picture 15 by using the basic data as a retrieval key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
