<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detecting operation of an electronic percussion instrument, with which a vibration transmission path from a drumhead part to a vibration sensor is simplified and reliability on installation of the vibration sensor is also enhanced sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A pad module 3 of the electronic percussion instrument 1 is provided with: the drumhead part 4 receiving percussive operation by a user; a drumhead holding member 7 which is made of a material harder than the drumhead part 4 and combined with the drumhead part 4 to hold the drumhead part 4 in a predetermined shape; a vibration detecting part 5 which comprises the vibration detecting sensor 9 for outputting signals corresponding to the vibrations and is located so as to be in contact with the rear face 4c of the drumhead part 4; and a detecting part holding mechanism 6 which is located between the vibration detecting part 5 and the drumhead part holding member 7, and holds the vibration detecting part 5 to be in contact with the drumhead part 4 with the vibration detecting part 5 restrained by the drumhead part holding part 7 in the direction parting from the drumhead part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
