摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight assembly which fundamentally prevents distortion in the diagonal direction and of which strength is greatly improved, and a display device equipped with this backlight assembly.

SOLUTION: The backlight assembly comprises a light source for supplying light and a fixing member for housing the light source, and a bending prevention section having a width in the direction crossing its diagonal direction is formed at the bottom of the fixing member.
