<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system, a data structure and a computer program product for restructuring an electronic mail message as a conversation. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic mail conversation item stores attribute values, which represent an attribute of the electronic mail message included in a corresponding electronic mail conversation and an attribute value of the corresponding electronic mail conversation. The attribute of the electronic mail conversation is changed by changing a stored attribute value i.e. generating a new electronic mail conversation or changing an existing electronic mail conversation when the electronic mail conversation is received; and executing a corresponding relational operation for all the electronic mail messages included in the electronic mail conversations when an execution for the relational operation for all the electronic mail messages is represented.
