PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo canceler apparatus capable of enhancing estimate accuracy of a clip level of an echo path. SOLUTION: A clip level estimate section 109 estimates a first clip level and acquires a second clip level different from the first clip level. A clipping processing section 101 uses the first clip level to carry out clipping processing. A clipping processing section 104 uses the second clip level to carry out the clipping processing. A power calculation unit 107 calculates the power of a residual signal when the clipping processing section 101 carries out the clipping processing. A power calculation unit 108 calculates the power of a residual signal when the clipping processing section 104 carries out the clipping processing.
