PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical contact member capable of passing a repeated hitting test at one million times or more. SOLUTION: A metal plate of stainless steel is processed, in which a nickel plate layer 3 is formed on the surface of a substrate 2, a copper plate layer 4 of thickness 0.5μm or less is formed on the nickel plate layer 3 by flash-plating, and a silver plate layer 5 is formed on the copper plate layer 4.
