PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch device capable of heightening pushing pressure of an elastic member at an initial position, capable of turning on the switch at the beginning of stroke, and capable of over-stroke thereafter. SOLUTION: The push switch device comprises a switch 1 in which a movable contact and a fixed contact are incorporated, a driving body 2 connecting and disconnecting the movable contact and the fixed contact by pressing the switch 1, an operation knob 4 holding the driving body 2, and a case 5 holding the operation knob 4 in free movement in a pushing direction of the switch 1. A stopper part 4g, holding the driving body in free movement in a pushing direction of the switch 1, and regulating the movement of an elastic member 3 pressing the driving body 2 and the driving body 2, is arranged on the operation knob 4, and the driving body 2 is made to elastically contact the stopper part 4g by the elastic member 3.
