PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire fuse of which an assembly time and labor is reduced, forming a stable arc-extinguishing part, and preventing deterioration of insulation resistance of an inner periphery face of an insulation case due to arc or gas generated at interruption of large current. SOLUTION: On the electric wire fuse, consisting of a fuse element 4 composed of a large-current interruption part 2 and a small-current blowout part 3 airtightly housed in an outer cylinder case 13, the electric wire fuse comprises an arc-extinguishing vessel 6 arranged at outer peripheral part of the large current interruption part of the fuse element, with one end blocked and the other end open; an arc-extinguishing medium 7 filled in the arc-extinguishing vessel 6; a lid 8 equipped with a hole into which the fuse element is adhesively inserted and consisting of an elastic body adhesively blocking an open end of the arc-extinguishing vessel; an insulator 10 fitted so as to cover an outer peripheral part of the arc-extinguishing part and the current blowout part; a pinching face 9c fitted in protrusion on an inside face of the small-current blowout part side of the insulator, and an outer cylinder case 13 fitted in adhesion to an outside of the insulator.
