PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge by which flexible disk-like recording mediums can stably be held and carried, and to provide a disk drive apparatus equipped with this. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge 1A includes a box-like cartridge case 2 having an opening 1 on its front surface; tray-like disk holding members 3a to 3e which is housed in the cartridge case 2 and can be put in and out through the opening 1; and the disk-like recording mediums 4a to 4e held by the disk holding members 3a to 3e. The disk holding members 3a to 3e are provided with a magnetic member 15. The disk cartridge 1A is mounted to the disk driving apparatus and a magnet 20 provided within the disk driving apparatus is magnetically connected with the magnetic member 15 of the desired disk holding members 3a to 3e to take out the disk holding members 3a to 3e from the cartridge case 2 without contacting.
