PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller, a numerical control method, a control program and a recording medium by which it is possible to grasp which sequential process among a plurality of sequential processes is being executed even when a command including more than one sequential processes like a fixed cycle command is executed. SOLUTION: In the numerical controller for gaining numerical value control of equipment operation according to a program organized by a plurality of commands, the plurality of commands organizing the program include the plurality of sequential processes and, every time the sequential process is executed, contents of a sequential process to be executed next are analyzed. As a result of analysis, information or the like to show a position of a structural apparatus of the equipment when a sequential process to be executed next is executed is outputted for display.
