PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an artificial plant in which a plant such as tree or flower having a size of one several-th to one several tenth of an actual one can simply be produced at a low cost without consuming much labor. SOLUTION: The method for producing the artificial plant comprises a wire material-arranging step for arranging a wire material in parts which become cores for branches, leaves and flowers of a plant printed on a release sheet or a print board for release to which a releasing agent is applied, a printing step for printing branches, leaves and flowers to the print board for release with a curable resin toner so that the wire material of the print board for release becomes a core before or after the wire material-arranging step, a release step of a plant for releasing the wire material and branches, leaves and flowers of the plant printed so as to cover the wire material and an after-treating step for removing an unnecessary wire material parts after release step of the plant.
