PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyurethane elastomer with improved antistaticity by incorporating an antistatic component in a polyurethane-forming reaction mixture. SOLUTION: The antistatic component comprises at least one quaternary alkylammonium monoalkyl sulfate corresponding to a specific formula and at least one compound selected from a specific group consisting of (i) a chain OH group-free dicarboxylic ester corresponding to a specific formula and/or (ii) a lactone. The polyurethane elastomer is particularly useful for producing rollers, spring elements, mats, cushions, automotive safety parts, and constituent parts for soles and shoes.
