PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of preventing spontaneous ignition of coal by a simple method using no water, and to provide a coal mixed fuel prevented from spontaneous ignition. SOLUTION: The coal mixed fuel 1 is produced by mixing a lump coal 2 with a lump material 4 such as carbonized biomass less oxidizable than the coal 2.
