PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymer organic conductive compound useful as a material for various display devices, e.g. a material for electrophotographic photoreceptors, a sensor material, an electrostatic recording element, an EL element, optical switching element or an electronic paper and to provide a method for producing the conductive compound. SOLUTION: The enamine structure-containing polymer compound has a recurring unit represented by general formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>2</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; Ar<SP>1</SP>to Ar<SP>2</SP>are each an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; Ar<SP>3</SP>is a divalent linking group derived from an aromatic ring or a heterocycle).
