PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interval forming device for vessels capable of forming a large interval between vessels independently of type of the vessels and shortened in the whole length of the device by using structure that an interval is formed between a vessel going ahead and a following vessel by a pair of high-speed belts in single stage. SOLUTION: This interval forming device for vessels is provided along the carrying direction of the vessels 10, and provided with an upstream side low-speed conveyor 1 for conveying a plurality of vessels 10 at low speed, a downstream side high-speed conveyor 2 for conveying the plurality of vessels 10 at high speed, a pair of high-speed belts 5 for carrying the vessels 10, while nipping a barrel part of the plurality of vessels 10, and a pair of support plates 12 provided on a back side of surfaces of the pair of high-speed belts 5 for nipping the vessels to support the back surfaces of the high-speed belts 5 for travelling guide. The pair of high-speed belts 5 are extended from a position on the upstream side of a terminal end 1e of the low-speed conveyor 1 to a position on the downstream side of a starting end 2s of the high-speed conveyor 2.
