The cover (1) has a flat plastic plate (2) with a louver (7) that is covered by a grille (8), where the cover and plate are made of translucent material e.g. Plexiglas. The plate has a strip shaped reinforcement profile (10) which is arranged at its lower side. The profile extends over a predominant length of the plate that is reinforced in the area of the louver. The profile extends parallel to a border area of the plate.
