The transporting container, especially a lattice wall container, has at least two perforated walls (2,3). A blocking bar (8) is provided for the inside of the container to place against the loaded goods (7) for their security, and is fitted in the perforated walls of the container. The blocking bar is telescopically constructed to compensate for varying distances between the container walls. The blocking bar may be constructed in three sections with two distance-variable base elements (8a,8b) and a coupling element (8c) interconnecting the base elements.
