The lounger has a lying surface (2) which on the sides is bounded by stop faces extending perpendicularly to the lying surface and provided for the connecting of a similar type of lounger. The frame (1) of the lounger has connecting components (5,6) lying opposite one another with regard to a longitudinal center plane and on one side protruding beyond the stop face and recessed in relation to it on the other side. The stop faces are formed by edge members of the frame which on one side have coupling hooks (7) protruding beyond the face and on the other side cut-outs (8) for engagement of the hooks.
