A mower (12) comprising a mower housing (24) with an open bottom for mowing underneath the housing (24). A mower blade is positioned with the housing (24) and is driven by a motor (98) mounted to the housing (24). A linkage assembly (18, 20, 22) attaches a prime mover (16) to the housing (24) and supports the mower (12) relative to the prime mover (16) wherein the linkage assembly (18, 20, 22) provides vertical and rotational movement of the housing (24) .about an axis (14) along a path of travel of the mower (12).
