<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing tool for an abrasive cloth improving the flatness of the abrasive cloth and stabilizing the deformation characteristics of the abrasive cloth while lengthening a service life by reducing the wear of grinding abrasive grains, and moreover shortening time required for the whole dressing work. <P>SOLUTION: The dressing tool for the abrasive cloth has a pedestal 2 of disk shape; a base 3 mounted to the pedestal and having an abrasive cloth pressing surface 3b formed with recesses; abrasive grain pedestals 3a1 provided in the recesses and fixed to the pedestal, and the grinding abrasive grains fixed to the abrasive grain pedestals, wherein the tip of the grinding abrasive grain is disposed in an inner direction of the recess toward the pedestal side rather than the pressing surface of the abrasive cloth pressing surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
