HYDROGEN PRODUCTION APPARATUS AND FUEL CELL SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROGEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production apparatus capable of keeping catalytic activity of a reforming catalyst over long period of time, by making concentration of sulfur content contained in a raw material gas to sufficiently low level by virtue of a simple constitution, and to provide a fuel cell system equipped with the apparatus.

SOLUTION: This hydrogen production apparatus 101 is equipped with a reformer 5 in which a first reforming catalytic body 23 is filled for producing a reformed gas containing hydrogen by a reforming reaction of the raw material gas including a sulfur compound. In the upstream of the first reforming catalytic body 23, desulfurization layers 21 and 22 are provided which comprise the reforming catalyst and a hydrogen sulfide adsorbent.
