<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery enabled to realize a long life. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery is formed by laminating electrode plates using lithium complex oxide as a cathode active material through separators, storing and sealing the laminated electrode plates and separators in a battery outer package, and by leading out the electrode terminals connected to the electrode plates from an outer peripheral edge of the battery outer package.
