<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which has conductive fine particles capable of imparting stable charge to an image carrier and is capable of imparting brilliance to a fixed image and reproducing high-definition image. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a charging device electrifies image carrier surface with a charging member that includes the conductive fine particles, wherein toner has weight average particle size of 2 to 8 μm, shape factor SF-1 of 100 to 300 and number average particle size of releasing agent dispersed in the toner falls into the range of 0.1 to 1.0 μm, and at least the conductive fine particles are externally added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
