PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and simply structured image pickup module capable of shortening an optical length, easily performing the focus adjustment and tilt adjustment of an image pickup lens unit, and acquiring a high-quality image without preventing the image pickup lens unit from being influenced by a change in environment. SOLUTION: The image pickup module is provided with a translucent member 1 and a photoelectric conversion element 16 electrically connected to an electric wiring board 12. The translucent member and the photoelectric conversion element are held by a holding member 5 so that they may oppose each other. The translucent member has a configuration provided with substrate glass, a lens 2 formed of resin on one surface side of the substrate glass, and a diaphragm member 9 and a near-infrared cut member 7 which are formed on the other surface side of the substrate glass.
