<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce the visual impression of the object on a print or on a monitor display, when photographing objects or observing the transparent objects' image on a color reversal film. <P>SOLUTION: The conversion to make the photographed image match the original object consists of at least either one of the contrast conversion or the color conversion to change the color of the object's image, on the basis of the color of the adaptation luminance higher than the one determined from the object's image or from the 1st observation condition for illuminating the object, and the color adaptation correction and the contrast correction to correct the determined corrected color, by using the 1st observation condition and the 2nd observation condition, and the flare correction of the corrected color. At least one of these conversion or correction includes conversion processes different in conversion power and sets up a conversion processes for each object image, to convert the image appearance through those setup conversion processes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
