<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry desulfurizing plant capable of efficiently removing mercury or the like by utilizing the characteristic that mercury or the like is deposited on carbonaceous catalyst at specified positions in a regeneration tower, requiring no special accessory facility, and capable of removing mercury or the like at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The dry desulfurizing plant D comprises an adsorption tower 1 to adsorb at least SO<SB>X</SB>and mercury out of various kinds of substances contained in gas to active coke, a regeneration tower 2 to desorb adsorption substances by bringing active coke into contact with inert gas, and circulation flow passages 3A, 3B to circulate active coke between the adsorption tower 1 and the regeneration tower 2, and further comprises a discharging flow passage 4 capable of discharging active coke outside the dry desulfirizing plant D, and a two-way chute 5 capable of changing the flow of active coke from the regeneration tower 2 into the direction of the circulation flow passage 3B and the direction of the discharging flow passage 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
