SOLUTION: A content output device 3 divides contents including the sound information provided from a content distributor 2 into two or more pieces of partial sound information constituting the sound information, stores them, and on the basis of the detected result of a camera 4 which detects the state of the listener of the contents including the sound information, outputs the partial sound information corresponding to the detected result to a speaker 6.
