<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve vehicle mountability of an engine, by reducing an occupying space in the shaft direction of an installation angle adjusting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A guide groove 11a in the radial direction is formed in a housing 2 integrally rotating with a timing sprocket 3, and a movable operation member 14a is slidingly engaged with this guide groove 11a. The movable operation member 14a is connected to a camshaft 11 via a link arm 16a and a lever member 18. Displacement in the radial direction of the movable operation member 14a, is converted into rotational displacement of the housing 2 and the camshaft 1 by this mechanism. A projection strip 26 of the movable operation member 14a is engaged with a spiral guide wall 32 of a guide plate 27, and the movable operation member 14a is displaced in the radial direction by rotation of the guide plate 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
