PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial-type Doppler ultrasonic current meter which can measure the flowrate of a fluid with high precision, and over a wide range of turbidity. SOLUTION: The coaxial-type Doppler ultrasonic current meter comprises a mounting base (W) which forms a mounting surface inclined with respect to the pipe axis of a pipe (P) through which a fluid to be measured flows and is fixed outside of the pipe, a transmitting transducer (T) which is fixed to the mount and radiates the inside of the fluid with ultrasonic waves, a receiving transducer (R) which is fixed to the mount and receives Doppler-shifted reflected waves of the ultrasonic waves radiated from the inside of the fluid, and a calculation section which calculates the flow rate of the fluid from the amount of Doppler shift of the reflected waves received by the receiving transducer. The transmitting transducer and the receiving transducer are arranged to have their transmission axis and reception axis coincide and ultrasonic waves are transmitted/received successively.
