PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire making operation stability and wet hydroplaning property (wet hydroplaning property) well without causing degradation of water discharging property and deterioration of noise during traveling. SOLUTION: Circumferential grooves are arranged at points Q of 1/4 of width of a tread surface part 19 respectively and it is divided to a central area 20 and both side areas 21. At the central area 20, inclination grooves 32 opened to the circumferential grooves 22 and inclinedly extending in a tire circumferential direction are arranged at both sides of a tire equatorial plane so as to clamp the tire equatorial plane CL. An acute angleα1 relative to a tire circumferential direction of an opening groove part 36 of the inclination grooves 32 is 45°or less, a terminal end groove part 34 extends substantially in parallel to the tire circumferential direction and groove width is larger than the opening groove part 36. Further, at least one part of the terminal end groove part 34 forms a groove bottom up area 38 continuously reduced in the groove depth and is terminated without being opened to the inclination groove 32.
