PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for photofixing which corrects a color gamut shift attributed to an infrared absorbent and excels in color reproducibility. SOLUTION: The toner for photofixing contains at least an infrared absorbent with a* smaller than 0 in the L*a*b* colorimetric system, a predominant-color colorant governing toner color and a binder resin, wherein the predominant-color colorant is a yellow, cyan, black, blue or green colorant and the toner contains a complementary-color colorant comprising a magenta colorant and/or a red colorant.
