PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for driving electrolyte capacitor, which has a high fireworks occurrence voltage, shows a stable characteristic even by being used under conditions of a high temperature and a high voltage, and has an excellent characteristic in a low temperature region. SOLUTION: The electrolytic solution contains a solution containing a polar solvent as a main solvent, and an electrolyte of at least one kind selected from a group consisting of organic acid, inorganic acid and its salt.
