PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC steel material fixing method capable of accurately arranging a wedge, by holding a high fatigue characteristic without complicating a shape of a fixing part. SOLUTION: This PC steel material fixing method fits and fixes this wedge 20 in and to a wedge receiver, by installing the wedge 20 composed of a plurality of divided pieces 21 in an end part of a PC steel material (a PC steel stranded wire 10). A fixture (a sleeve 30) is fixed to a predetermined position on one end side of the PC steel material, and the wedge 20 is arranged in advance in close vicinity to this fixture. The fixture is allowed to abut on an end surface of the wedge 20, and the respective divided pieces 21 are moved in the shaft direction of the PC steel material, by pulling the other end side of this PC steel material, and the wedge 20 is fitted in the wedge receiver in a state of being positioned in a proper position of the PC steel material.
