<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a femur mounting device for a walking assist having a superior wearing and attachment/detachment property while securing high rigidity for uniformly transmitting an assist torque applied from an actuator to the whole femur. <P>SOLUTION: This femur mounting device 9 comprises an approximately U-shaped base part in a top view mounted on the femur T of a user from the outer crotch side, and left/right opening/closing parts 9b and 9c extending from the left/right both ends of the base part 9a to the inner crotch side; and is formed into an approximately C-shape in the top view as a whole. The interval between the tips of the left/right opening/closing parts 9b and 9c is set narrower than the thickness of the femur part so as to prevent its falling from the femur part in wearing. The rigidity of the base part 9a is set high for uniformly transmitting the assist torque applied from the actuator to the femur whole body and the rigidity of the opening/closing parts 9b and 9c is set low so as to elastically deform in the opening/closing directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
