<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original printing plate for a lithographic printing plate excellent in on-machine developing property, fine-line reproducibility, and print durability, and a lithographic printing method using it. <P>SOLUTION: The original printing plate for a lithographic printing plate is a lithographic printing plate having a laser-sensitive photopolymerizable layer on a hydrophilic support, capable of forming an image without executing alkali development, and including a polyurethane resin in the photopolymerizable layer.
