<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type implant fixture capable of securely engaging an abutment while maintaining the precision in the engagement without deforming or breaking a plurality of recessed grooves for engagement formed on the inner surface on the inside of the oral cavity to which engagement projections formed on the periphery of a projection projecting on the jaw bone side of the abutment are engaged when the fixture is implanted in the jaw bone. <P>SOLUTION: The screw-type implant fixture 1 has a plurality of recessed grooves 1a for engagement, formed on the inner surface on the inner side of the oral cavity, to be engaged with engagement projections formed on the periphery of a projection part on the jaw bone side of the abutment. The screw-type implant fixture 1 is structured to have a plurality of implanting recessed groove 1b, separate from the plurality of the recessed grooves 1a for engagement with the abutment, formed on the inner surface on the inner side of the oral cavity, to be engaged with a plurality of implant projections for engagement formed at the distal end of an implanting instrument to implant the screw-type implant fixture 1 in the jaw bone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
