<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer and a fixing mechanism for a cover removable from a main body case of the computer, which allow various measured to be taken for safety of children. <P>SOLUTION: In an example, the computer is provided with control units 300 and 500 which are placed in an opening 230 covering most of an area of a bottom panel 124 of a main body case 120 and control attachment to the main body case of a cover 200 to be attached to the main body case and restrict access of users. A fixing mechanism 300 for the removable cover formed as a part of the main body case of the computer includes a cover fixing device 300 and stoppers 315 and 410, and the stoppers firmly attach the cover to the main body case when the fixing device is disposed in a first setting position, and stoppers allow the cover from being removed from the main body case when the fixing device is disposed in a second setting position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
