<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing program, an image processing method, and an imaging apparatus capable of effectively utilizing image data with a high gradation. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus acquires information for prescribing a part, wherein an object designated by a photographer exists, in an image represented by RAW data with 16-bit gradation and corrects the gradation of a luminance value of the image represented by the RAW data so that the part, wherein the object designated by the photographer exists, has a proper luminance value. As a result, the image processing apparatus can image/store an image with a high contrast ratio by utilizing an extended image file form. Further, the image processing apparatus can effectively utilize the high gradation of the RAW data unlike a method for correcting the gradation of the luminance value of the image by using a fixed luminance value for a median of the gradation expressionable by a display body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
