PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner excellent in development stability while retaining fixability, and to further provide toner having fog-free clear image properties and excellent in charge stability and long-term stability. SOLUTION: The toner has toner particles containing at least a sulfonic acid polymer, a colorant, a binder resin and a crystalline polyester, wherein the sulfonic acid polymer is a polymer containing at least one monomer unit selected from sulfonic acid, sulfonate and sulfonic ester units.
