PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior and durable carrier and developer for electrophotography, capable of forming a fine-textured images free of the edge effects, over a long period of time, and also free of color contamination, and to provide a process cartridge that uses the developer. SOLUTION: The carrier for electronic photography has a resin-coated layer on the surface of its core material. The coated layer consists of an indium oxide layer containing tin dioxide on a tin oxide layer, and contains a conductive particle having a conductive coated layer of which the surface is subjected to silane coupling agent treatment.
